Client Success Manager (CSM), Organic Search


As a Client Success Manager (CSM) you’ll be working with our client partners to achieve their marketing performance goals. We’re looking for a smart and motivated individual with hands-on experience executing wildly successful SEO campaigns. In this role, you will help deliver SEO support for several high-growth companies.

To succeed in this position you will need to proactively assist with keyword research, metadata recommendations, technical site audits, and a myriad of on-page SEO tasks. This requires our CSMs to have a commanding knowledge of SEO best practices, basic technical skills, and high attention to detail. As a CSM that specializes in organic search, you’ll be expected to provide SEO support and subject matter expertise through live chat, emails, and phone calls.

  • Augment marketing teams with your SEO expertise
  • Assist with keyword research, selection, and mapping for multiple websites
  • Deliver insights into search analytics to c-suite executives and marketing teams
  • Perform technical SEO audits of customer websites
  • Provide and implement metadata optimization recommendations
  • Provide technical support and help solve problems for clients and end-users
  • Understand client business goals, anticipate future needs, and help determine effective solutions
  • Help develop, implement, and optimize targeting strategies for search (organic and paid)
  • Proactively build relationships with clients and go the extra mile to help them succeed
  • Assist with onboarding new client partners

You must have

  • Hands-on experience in planning and executing successful SEO campaigns
  • B.A. or B.S. degree with an excellent academic track record
  • Strong sense of accountability, an unwavering will to win, and high attention to detail
  • Passionate about search and the impact that it has on the world of ecommerce
  • Experienced with Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, and Tag Manager
  • Exceptional knowledge of SEO best practices and tactics (technical, on-page, off-page)
  • Ability to thrive in semi-autonomous, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Basic familiarity with WordPress and other prominent content management systems
  • Fundamental knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Regex, JSON, and HTTP cookies
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to extract and deliver insights supported by relevant data
  • Full working knowledge of SEO software tools (e.g. screaming frog, ahrefs, botify, etc.)
  • Highly skilled with Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel
  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ)

Bonus if you have

  • M.S. in Computational Linguistics, Computer Science, NLP/NLU, or related technical field
  • Previous experience with ecommerce and/or SaaS
  • Web development and/or web design experience
  • Experience with other areas of digital marketing (paid search, Amazon, email, social)
  • Familiarity with business intelligence, digital analytics, and data management platforms
