Client Success Manager (CSM), Paid Search


As a Client Success Manager (CSM) you’ll primarily be working with our users and client partners to achieve their marketing performance goals. We’re looking for a smart and motivated individual with hands-on experience executing wildly successful paid search campaigns. In this role, you will simultaneously manage, analyze, and optimize SEM campaigns for several high-growth companies.

To succeed in this position you will need to proactively solve marketing puzzles with data analysis, research, and creative thinking. This requires our CSMs to be flexible, organized, and committed to identifying and addressing the needs of our customers in a timely manner. As a CSM that specializes in search engine marketing, you’ll be expected to provide top level service, customer support, and subject matter expertise through live chat, emails, and phone calls.

  • Plan, manage, and execute highly effective PPC campaigns
  • Analyze and report on paid search performance with an emphasis on providing actionable intel to clients, end-users, and internal team members
  • Ongoing optimization of search, shopping, display, and remarketing campaigns
  • Iterative testing of search ads, targeting parameters, and bidding strategies
  • Communicate paid search strategy, performance outcomes, and action items to a combination of technical and non-technical teams
  • Understand client business goals, anticipate future needs, and help determine effective solutions
  • Help develop, implement, and optimize targeting strategies for search (paid + organic)
  • Audit AdWords and Bing Ads accounts identifying actionable opportunities for improvement
  • Provide technical support and help solve problems for clients and end-users
  • Assist with onboarding new client partners
  • Proactively build relationships with clients and go the extra mile to help them succeed

You must have

  • Hands-on experience in planning and executing successful paid search campaigns
  • B.A. or B.S. degree with an excellent academic track record
  • Strong sense of accountability, an unwavering will to win, and high attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in semi-autonomous, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Passionate about ecommerce and online retail
  • Exceptional knowledge of search engine marketing best practices and PPC technologies
  • Firm grasp of paid search metrics and search analytics
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • Highly skilled with Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to extract and deliver insights supported by relevant data
  • AdWords Certification, Bing Ads Accreditation, and Google Analytics Individual Qualification

Bonus if you have

  • M.S. in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related technical field
  • Demonstrated expertise working with data feeds and product listing ads
  • Previous experience managing ecommerce campaigns
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, Python, HTML, CSS, Wolfram
  • Experience with other digital advertising channels (Amazon, Social, Programmatic, Video)
  • Familiarity with business intelligence software, digital analytics, and data management platforms
  • Ability to execute and/or help manage SEO initiatives
